Julie Schafer

Julie Schafer is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Breckenridge Grand Vacations since July 2021, Julie drives strategic initiatives for Summit County’s largest year-round employer while implementing innovative HR technologies and redesigning performance systems. Prior roles include Human Resources Manager at both Breckenridge Grand Vacations and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, where significant employee engagement and operational improvements were achieved. Julie began the career in customer service at Vail Resorts and has held several managerial and internship positions, building a solid foundation in leadership and operational efficiency. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from California State University, Long Beach, and studied abroad at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
