David A. Jordan

David A. Jordan has served as the CEO of Breckenridge Insurance Group and Breckenridge IS, Inc since January 2019. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of Vela Insurance Services from January 2009 to January 2019. Vela Insurance Services is a specialty insurance underwriting manager and a member company of W. R. Berkley Corporation. Vela Insurance Services produces and underwrites commercial casualty insurance on behalf of Gemini Insurance Company and other member companies of W. R. Berkley Corporation. Gemini Insurance Company is rated A+ (Superior), Financial Class Size XV, by A.M. Best Company and is rated A+ (Strong) by Standard & Poor's.

From January 1999 to December 2008, Mr. Jordan served as the Chief Operating Officer for Risk Specialists Companies, Inc. David also held the position of Assistant Vice President at Atlantic Mutual Companies from January 1988 to December 1996 and Vice President at American International Group from January 1996 to December 1998. Prior to that, they held various positions at AIG from January 1980 to December 1988.
