Christina Allen

Christina Allen is an experienced geology professional with a strong background in the aggregates and minerals industry. Currently serving as Geology Manager - Strategic Development at Breedon Group plc since January 2023, Christina previously held the position of Geological Manager at Aggregate Industries UK from November 2016 to January 2023, where responsibilities included quarry development, restoration, and resource assessments. Prior to that, Christina was the Director of Terra Geological Limited, providing consultancy services to the UK quarrying and brickmaking industries from March 2013 to October 2016, and served as Director at Geoplan Limited from September 2001 to February 2013. Christina gained valuable experience at Tarmac as Senior Geologist, Quarry Manager, and Business Analyst from August 1989 to August 2001. Academic qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Geology & Physical Geography from The University of Sheffield, an MSc in Environmental Management from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Engineering Geology from Newcastle University.
