Christopher Benfield

Christopher Benfield has extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Group Sustainability & Net Zero Manager at Breedon Group plc since February 2020. Prior roles at Breedon Group include Sustainability Manager and Environment and Systems Manager. Previously, Christopher worked at Hanson UK from November 2011 to February 2020, advancing from Sustainability Data Manager to Systems Coordinator. Christopher's career began at Hanson in November 2007 as a Data Analyst. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Derby Online Learning (2017-2019), an IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management from Envirotrain (2012-2013), and an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics from The University of Manchester (1999-2003).
