John Russack

John Russack's work experience includes serving as the Vice President of Flight Operations and Director of Operations at Breeze Airways since September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Captain A220 at the same company from June 2022 to September 2022.

Before joining Breeze Airways, John founded and served as the CEO of Selkirk Associates since September 2018. John also worked as the Director of Operations at Empire Airlines from May 2018 to June 2022.

Previously, John was the Head of Flight Operations at HEVILIFT from May 2017 to May 2018. John worked as a Captain at Garuda Indonesia from February 2014 to June 2015 and as a Captain at Atlantic Southeast Airlines from May 2002 to January 2014.

Furthermore, John played a key role in the start-up and management of Air Mekong, Vietnam's first privately owned airline, from May 2010 to December 2013. John held the positions of Chief Pilot, Manager of Flight Ops, and Training Manager at Air Mekong, which was a joint venture between Atlantic Southeast Airlines and a private owner.

John Russack obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Studies from the University of Arizona in the years 1989-1992. John then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Factors from the Florida Institute of Technology from 2019-2021. Additionally, they completed the Leading a Culture of Service Excellence Certification from Cornell University. John Russack also holds various certifications, such as Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work, Body Language for Leaders, and others, obtained from LinkedIn.
