Shani Smith Fisher

Shani Smith Fisher has a diverse work history in the legal field. Shani started their career as an associate at Fulbright & Jaworski in 2003 and later worked as an associate at Snell & Wilmer. In 2006, they became a senior associate at Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and worked there until 2011. During their time at Fulbright & Jaworski, they also served as a secondee legal adviser at Emirates from 2007 to 2008. In 2011, they joined AerCap as a finance and leasing in-house counsel, where they advised senior management on various corporate transactions. In 2015, they started their own law firm, Fisher Legal P.C., which they owned until 2023. From 2018 to 2023, they also worked as counsel at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Breeze Airways™, starting in September 2023.

Shani Smith Fisher earned a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communication from the University of Southern California, graduating between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, they also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
