Julie Mantel

Julie Mantel currently serves as a Cyber Security Advisor at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, a position held since October 2023. Additionally, Julie is a Young Professional in Cybersecurity at Breinstein, also starting in January 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Information Security Officer at Woningstichting Rochdale Amsterdam from January to June 2023 and participating in the Activitees Committee at JASON Institute from June to November 2022. An internship with the Ministerie van Financiën focused on the Financial Action Task Force evaluation for the Netherlands took place between May and September 2020. Julie’s teaching experience includes a brief role as an English Teacher at FaFa Foundation in July 2017. Julie Mantel holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Organizations from Leiden University and a Master of Science in Crisis and Security Management with a focus on Intelligence and National Security from Leiden University, currently pursuing further studies at Antwerp Management School until September 2024.
