Kavish Weerawardane has had a varied and successful career in product management and marketing. Kavish began their career in 2011 as a freelance marketer and creative services provider. In 2019, they were a Minority Partner and Consultant for Marketing & Digital Experience at Vegan Japanese Cooking School Association and BentoYa Cooking. In 2020, they were a Product Marketing Manager at Vaadin and a Content Marketer/Product Marketer (on-loan) at MAHA Co., Ltd. Finally, in 2021, they were an Integrations Lead & Product Manager - Organizer Experience, Product Lead - Brella Communities Platform, and Product Marketing Manager at Brella.
Kavish Weerawardane obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Specialization: Media) from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University between 2014 and 2018, with a field of study in Media and Sociology. Kavish has also obtained a Crash Course on Python certification from Coursera in July 2022, a Google UX Design Professional Certificate from Coursera in July 2022, and a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google in March 2019.
