John Prosser

John Prosser currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Bremerton High School for Bremerton School District since September 2023. Previously, John was a 6th Grade Teacher at Carson Elementary in Puyallup School District from October 2022 to August 2023 and worked as an Assistant Principal in high school settings within the Bethel School District from August 2019 to June 2022. Additionally, John has experience teaching middle school humanities at Hilltop Heritage Middle School and has contributed to instructional development as an Instructional Facilitator with Tacoma Public Schools. John is a Fellow with NEA/Teach Plus and has held roles in teacher engagement and community organizing with The Center for Teaching Quality. Earlier in the career, John gained legal experience as an Associate Attorney and Rule 9 Legal Intern. John holds multiple degrees, including a K-12 Principal Certificate from Western Washington University, a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Boston College.
