Brenau University
Toby Hinton became vice president for financial services at Brenau University in 2012. The South Carolina native is responsible for managing and supervising all fiduciary responsibilities of the university Business Office, as well as budget maintenance, financial reporting and cash flow management. Since joining Brenau, he has implemented several new financial systems for the university and was installed as member of the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission by Governor Nathan Deal in January 2015. Hinton previously served as an auditor for Metcalf Davis and Reed, Quinn and McClure and has been a certified public accountant in Georgia since 1997. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Presbyterian College.
