Alain Bouvier

Alain Bouvier has a wealth of experience in human resources, having worked in various HR roles for different companies. Alain most recently served as the Human Resources Director for Brenntag Group since September 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Groupe Martin Belaysoud, where they were responsible for overseeing HR functions for six subsidiaries with 2,400 employees. Alain also has experience as the Senior Site HR Head at Sanofi Pasteur, managing HR operations for a site with 4,000 employees.

Before that, they held multiple roles at GE Grid Solutions, formerly Alstom T&D, including Global HR Director for the AIS Product Line and Manufacturing Excellence Global Function, Global HR Director for the Global Quality & Operational Excellence Function, and HR PMO for the SuperGrid Institute.

Alain has also worked as the Service Product Line Global HR Director for ALSTOM GRID, as well as the HR Director for BOBST and HR Manager for Compagnie Europeenne du Zirconium Cezus S.A., Artelia, ALCATEL BUSINESS SYSTEM International, and NextiraOne (NXO France).

Throughout their career, Alain has focused on various aspects of HR, including talent and competencies management, change management, organization design, labor relations, and HR processes design and deployment.

Alain Bouvier holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Sciences Po, which they obtained from 1985 to 1987. Alain then pursued another Master's degree in HR at Paris Dauphine University from 1987 to 1988. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1987, they completed a Master's degree in Law at University Nancy. In 2020, they also obtained a Coaching Fundamentals certificate from INTERNATIONAL MOZAIK.
