Melis Acar

Melis Acar serves as the European Product Manager for Solvents in Pharma EMEA at Brenntag since September 2024. Prior to this role, Melis was a Chemical Product Manager at CheMondis from July 2022 to September 2024 and a Senior Chemical Analyst at IHS Markit from February 2016 to June 2022, where responsibilities included recovering market intelligence, conducting strategic market research in European base chemicals, and improving internal processes. Melis also held positions at Tricon International, Ltd., as Polymers Sales & Distribution Manager and Trader, focusing on commodity polymers in Northwest Europe. Earlier roles include Product Manager for Oleochemicals at Brenntag and Sales and Marketing Representative at Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals. Melis holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry from Uludag University and Technische Universität Wien.
