Pierre Colignon

Pierre Colignon has over 30 years of work experience in business development, strategic account management, and operations. Pierre began their career at ICI as a Commercial Manager before joining Shell, where they held various roles including General Manager of Global Procurement and Director of Business Development. At Shell, they led multinational teams, negotiated complex agreements, and implemented cost reduction strategies. In 2015, Colignon became an Independent Consultant before joining Brenntag in 2016. At Brenntag, they served as Vice President of Industrial Chemicals, President of Lubricants APAC, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development.

Pierre Colignon has a Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry from CPE Lyon, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. In 1999, they completed the OUBEP - Oxford University Business Economics Programme at the University of Oxford. In 2006, Pierre participated in the Shell GBLP - Shell Group Business Leadership Programme at INSEAD. Pierre also attended the Shell Group Commercial Academy from 2006 to 2009, where they specialized in deal making. In 2015, Pierre completed the Executive Education - Finance for Executives program at INSEAD. Additionally, in May 2016, they obtained a certification in MOOC New Energy Technologies from Grenoble Ecole de Management.
