Thomas Pickup

Thomas Pickup is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and strategic roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Policy, Partnerships, and Scrutiny Manager at Brent Council since August 2022, Thomas has previously held positions at London Councils, including Special Projects Lead for Race Equality and Principal Policy & Project Officer from January 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, Thomas worked at Surrey County Council as a Strategy Officer and Policy and Strategic Partnerships Officer from 2017 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes the role of EU Events Officer at the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, focusing on delivering high-level event content and distilling complex policy information for stakeholders. Thomas Pickup holds a degree from Aston University, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2017.
