Simon Wingate

Simon Wingate is an experienced sports educator and talent scout, currently serving as Housemaster at Holyport College since September 2019. Wingate has been with Brentford Football Club as Talent ID for South London Schools since November 2014, focusing on scouting and identifying football talent. Previously, Wingate held the position of Head of Physical Education at Evelyn Grace Academy from September 2010 to July 2019, overseeing the school’s football program and sports teams. Additional roles include rowing coach for the London Borough of Lambeth during the 2011 London Youth Games, PE teacher at several schools, and coaching positions with Arsenal F.C. and New York Red Bulls. Wingate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Science with Professional Football Coaching from the University of Greenwich.
