Heather Pepe

Heather Pepe has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather started their career as an Admin Assistant at Paravant Inc., where they worked from 1998 to 2000. In 2006, they became an RN at Health First, gaining valuable nursing experience in the ED. Heather then joined Brevard Health Alliance, Inc. in 2007 and held various roles, including Clinical Operations Manager and Clinical Supervisor. During their time at Health First from 2012 to 2013, Heather served as a Clincal Quality Coordinator, focusing on regulatory compliance and education. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Health First as a Manager of Quality & Outcomes, where they led initiatives related to quality metrics and patient care. Since 2016, Heather has been serving as the Director of Risk Management & Privacy Officer at Brevard Health Alliance, Inc.

Heather Pepe, BSN, HCRM, CHPC, has a strong educational background in healthcare and nursing. Heather holds a Certification and License in Health Care Risk Management from the University of Central Florida, which they completed in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Education from Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale from 2010 to 2012. Heather also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Keiser University, which they earned from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Heather has obtained the Certified Healthcare Compliance Privacy certification from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) in 2022.
