Tarik Ihadjadene

Tarik Ihadjadene has over 12 years of experience in the technology industry. Tarik currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Brevo, where they oversee engineering operations. Prior to this role, Tarik was the Head of SRE at Brevo as well.

Before joining Brevo, Tarik worked as the Lead SRE/Cloud Architect at Bearer - Developer Platform for API Integrations. In this role, they were responsible for designing and building a cost-effective, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture and infrastructure. Tarik also developed features related to infrastructure and drove observability initiatives.

Tarik also worked as a Consultant Cloud/DevOps at Devoteam Revolve, where they advised various customers on automation, CI/CD, and cloud governance. Tarik helped companies staff and onboard IT and operation experts as needed.

Prior to that, Tarik was the Lead DevOps at Skillsoft, where they led a team in defining core technologies for their e-learning platform, Percipio. Tarik was responsible for building and automating the AWS infrastructure, implementing a CI/CD system, and optimizing costs.

Tarik's career began at Tigerlily as a Web Operations, Software Architect, and Web Developer. Tarik played a key role in migrating the Tigerlily platform from OVH to AWS and contributed to the development of various services.

Tarik's early experience includes working as a Web Developer at Up&Net.

Throughout their career, Tarik has gained expertise in technologies such as Ruby, Nodejs, Ruby On Rails, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Rabbitmq, Sneakers, Varnish, Nginx, Unicorn, and Passenger.

Tarik Ihadjadene has a Bachelor's degree in Databases and Web Technologies from Université de Poitiers, which they obtained from 2008-2009. Tarik also has a degree in Banking from Galit, earned in 2011-2012. In addition, Tarik holds a another Bachelor's degree in Advanced Information Systems Engineering from Université Mouloud Mammeri Tizi-Ouzou, completed from 2007-2008.
