Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a Senior Application Engineer at Brewer Science, specializing in Wafer Level Packaging since October 2020. Prior to this role, Amit served as Associate Director for Research Programs and Technology Services at BRIDG from November 2014 to October 2020, focusing on Chemical Mechanical Planarization and Wafer Bonding technology. Amit also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Central Florida from September 2012 to October 2014, where responsibilities included tool design for hydrogen gas sensor tests and the setup of a Chemical Vapor Deposition system. Academic qualifications include a Doctoral Degree in Materials Science from the University of Central Florida and multiple degrees in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, as well as a year of study at Florida International University.
