Iain Birchley has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Iain began their career as a Demi chef de partie at Caprice Holdings Ltd. in 2010. Iain then worked as a Chef de partie at Searcys the Gherkin from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they held different roles at Searcys from 2013 to 2017, including Senior chef de partie and Head Chef. In 2014, they worked as a Head Chef at W.B Yeats. From 2015 to 2017, they returned to Searcys as a Head Chef. Their most recent position is as a Head Brewer at Brewhouse & Kitchen since 2019.
Iain Birchley began their education in 2007 at South Birmingham College, where they pursued a NVQ Level 2 degree in Hospitality and Catering. Iain completed this program in 2008. The following year, in 2008, Iain Birchley continued their education at South Birmingham College by pursuing a NVQ Level 3 degree in the same field, Hospitality and Catering.
