Julie Lions

Julie Lions is an experienced hydrogéologue with a strong focus on hydrogéochemistry and water quality. Currently at BRGM since September 2020, Julie coordinates the H2020 PROMISCES project and previously managed groundwater resources and thermal water quality at Pierre Fabre Group from 2017 to 2020. Julie's extensive background includes significant roles at BRGM from 2005 to 2017, where responsibilities encompassed scientific program management related to contaminant transfer and groundwater protection. Early career experience includes research engineering positions at IRSN and ARMINES, as well as a doctoral study at MINES Paris focused on pollutant transfer in soil and aquifers. Julie holds a Ph.D. in Hydrochemistry from Mines Paris - PSL, complemented by advanced degrees from Pierre and Marie Curie University and Aix-Marseille University.
