Danny Gavin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the digital marketing industry. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at The H Agency, where they managed CRM implementation, coordinated PPC and social media campaigns, and developed content for the company's blog and website. In 2010, they founded their own Internet Marketing Consulting and Services Company called Optidge, specializing in maximizing ROI, SEO, Google Ads, and more. Danny also served as the VP and Director of Marketing at Brian Gavin Diamonds. In 2011, they became the Internet Marketing Director at Softway, working with clients such as ExxonMobil and Transcanada. Danny also contributed articles to Forbes Communications Council and provided digital marketing advice to Sharkk's Lab Division. Their role as an Adjunct Professor at Bauer College of Business, UH commenced in 2016. Additionally, they advised BrainCheck, a platform for tracking cognitive performance, and started their own digital marketing course called ODEO Academy in 2021. Lastly, Danny Gavin began hosting The Digital Marketing Mentor Podcast in 2023.

Danny Gavin has a diverse education history. Danny obtained an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Consulting from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. In addition, they completed a Post Graduate degree in Rabbinical Studies from the South African Institute for Rabbinical Training. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Rabbinical Studies from Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad West Coast Talmudical Seminary. Danny Gavin also holds a certification in ODEO Digital Marketing Fundamentals, which was obtained from ODEO Academy.
