Saidah Blount

Saidah Blount is the Executive Director of Celebrate Brooklyn! at BRIC since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in music, marketing, and public relations. Previously, Saidah held multiple roles at Sonos, Inc., including Corporate Storyteller and Executive Producer for Sonos Radio, contributing to brand strategy and global marketing from November 2016 to June 2023. Prior to that, Saidah served as Director of Music Live Events and Digital Content at NPR from December 2011 to November 2016. Additional consulting roles include music supervision and content marketing for prominent brands such as Red Bull and Google, as well as experiences in boutique marketing agencies and arts organizations. Saidah holds a BA in Political Science from Bates College and an MA in Urban Policy from The New School.
