Simon Heawood is the co-founder and CEO of Bricklane, a previous fleet support services for the HOYER Group, project leader for O2 Think Big, and manager of Oxjam Huddersfield. Simon has also worked as a warehouse operative for Blackcat Fireworks, and as a fundraising coordinator and student ambassador for the University of Huddersfield. Simon is a motivated and experienced leader with a passion for strategic planning and event management. Simon has successfully managed teams of volunteers and has experience in financial responsibility and leadership.

Simon Heawood has a MSc in International Business Management from The University of Huddersfield. Their focus was in International Strategy, Cross-cultural Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Trade Operations. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Management and Operations also from The University of Huddersfield. Simon started their educational career with a Bachelor of Technology in Public Services from Wolverhampton City College. Simon also has a certification from the Chartered Management Institute in Chartered Management Institute Level 6 Diploma.
