Tobias E Stone has held a variety of roles in the technology industry. In 2020, they co-founded Sotera, an Insurtech company using deep tech and data to create risk ratings for unusual objects. Tobias E also served as an Advisor for Fyma and an Honorary Practice Fellow at Imperial College Business School. In 2019, they were the Portfolio Director at Deepbridge Capital and a Member of the Smart London Board at the Greater London Authority. In 2017, they were a Director at the British Business Federation Authority (BBFA). In 2016, they were an Investor and Director at Brickowner. In 2015, they were a Founder of Newsquare Associates and an Investor at Eyoto (formerly Aston EyeTech Limited). In 2020, they were an Angel and Non Executive Director at Cuckoo Broadband.

Tobias E Stone has a varied educational background. From 1992-1995, they attended UCL, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Archaeology. From 1995-1999, they attended the University of Oxford, where they earned an MSt in Egyptology & Classical Archaeology. From 2012-2018, they attended The University of Huddersfield, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Social Network Theory and Innovation Strategy. Most recently, they have been attending Imperial College London, where they are currently pursuing a Hon Practice Fellow in Business School, with a focus on Innovation.
