Colby Hankey

Lead Teacher at Bricks 4 Kidz

Colby Hankey is an experienced educator with a strong background in STEM education, currently serving as Lead Teacher at Bricks 4 Kidz since September 2014, where responsibilities include curriculum creation and teaching children aged 3-13. Previously, Colby worked as a Tutor at the Department of Communication Speech Lab from September 2010 to May 2014, assisting students in speechwriting and delivery. Colby also contributed to service work during the same period at George Mason University, collaborating with migrant workers to build an immigration center and presenting HIV/AIDS education through the Center For Drug Free Living. As Captain of the nationally ranked George Mason Forensics Team, Colby competed internationally and held the position of Head Librarian at the George Mason Institute of Forensics, providing support to public speaking coaches and instructing students in research. Colby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from George Mason University, earned in 2014.

Our programs provide an extraordinary atmosphere for students to build unique creations, play games, and have loads of fun using LEGO® bricks. The activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations and build their self-confidence. Children work with exciting themes such as machines, outer space and mosaics.
