Jennifer Kaufman

Jennifer Kaufman is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Literacy Interventionist at the District of Columbia Public Schools since August 2021, while also tutoring students through JK Tutoring since March 2020. With a robust background, Jennifer has participated in the Urban Teachers program since June 2018, focusing on preparing for a teaching career in high-need schools. Additional roles include founding and co-presiding over the University of Michigan Club Swim Team and instructing STEM-based classes at Bricks 4 Kidz. Jennifer has also volunteered extensively in various educational and healthcare settings, including serving as a Special Education Teacher at The Children's Guild and providing support to therapists at the University of Michigan Health System. Jennifer holds a Master of Education from Johns Hopkins University and possesses diverse educational experiences fromleading initiatives at the University of Michigan and abroad.
