Rachel Evans is a dedicated researcher with a strong educational background in Physics. Currently a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University since August 2018, Rachel is involved in single molecule studies of DNA mismatch repair. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Central Florida from August 2016 to July 2018, where Rachel focused on thin-film design and fabrication for infrared sensor applications. Rachel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from North Carolina State University, expected in May 2025, a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Belmont University, completed in 2017.
