Rafael Niesten has extensive experience in the business and technology sectors. In 2002, they founded Groove FM, a radio station that achieved more than any in the times before it. In 2004, they were a Director at Media and Entertainment Consultants, and a Board Member at the State Library of Western Australia. In 2007, they co-founded Bricks and Agent, a platform to streamline property maintenance processes. In 2008, they founded Speech Solutions, an integrated medical grade voice recognition solutions provider. In 2014, they co-founded Clinic to Cloud, the first true cloud application in the health sector. In 2018, they co-founded JRC Software, a software company and community of passionate people. In 2022, they co-founded Invoice Automate, an AI-powered engine to assist property management agencies and trust accounts process and automate invoices.
Rafael Niesten completed a Masters in Marketing at The University of Western Australia from 2000 to 2002. Rafael previously obtained a Bachelor in Marketing & Media from Murdoch University between 1996 and 1998. In addition, they were a finalist for the Young Australian of The Year award in 2004, and won the Citizen of The Year (Youth) award in WA in November 2003.
