Hannes Ramon

Hannes Ramon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, project management, and software engineering. Currently serving as R&D Team Lead at Bricsys® since April 2021, Hannes leads a BIM team focusing on innovative products, including a web-based 3D model and BIM viewer. Prior roles at Bricsys include Senior R&D Software Engineer, contributing to AI-driven features for CAD user productivity. Hannes also holds a Project Manager position at MakerStudio, overseeing toolpath generation and software integration while engaging in front-end development and algorithm creation. Additional experience includes embedded software development at Nokia and significant research roles at imec, focusing on high-speed analog/mixed-signal IC design. Hannes earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Ghent University, where previous degrees in the same field were also obtained.
