Sundaravelpandian Singaravel, Ph.D., is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Bricsys® since August 2020, with prior experience as a Data Scientist at RENSON Ventilation from July 2019 to July 2020. Between December 2015 and February 2020, Sundaravelpandian conducted research at KU Leuven, focusing on deep learning architectures for predicting building energy demand. As a Simulation Engineer and Team Lead at Mott MacDonald from July 2014 to October 2015, responsibilities included developing solutions for comfort and energy efficiency in building design. Sundaravelpandian also worked freelance as a Sustainable Energy Engineer in early 2014 and at Cauberg-Huygen Raadgevende Ingenieurs BV as a Simulation Engineer, investigating various building performance metrics. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Engineering Science from KU Leuven, a Master's in Sustainable Energy Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
