Stefan de Groot is an experienced finance and management professional with a strong background in legal and fiscal services. Currently serving as a Partner at Briddge since January 2011, Stefan focuses on providing high-quality legal, accounting, payroll, and management solutions to clients establishing operations in Europe. In addition, Stefan has held the position of Board Member - Treasurer at Stichting GC Netherlands since January 2005, overseeing financial reporting and budgeting. Previously, Stefan contributed as a Board Member - Treasurer for Stichting Amsterdam50 from April 2011 to May 2017. Stefan's early career includes senior and associate roles at GPFC and Ernst & Young, with foundational experience gained through internships at Deloitte and Baker Tilly Berk. Education credentials include studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Inholland University of Applied Sciences.

From business associates to business partners. In 2011 attorney-at-law Marc Dunnewijk and accountant Theo De Groot joined forces and established Briddge Legal & Finance B.V. The letters D-D-G in the name mark the cooperation as the letters stand for Dunnewijk and De Groot. During the past years Theo De Groot has stepped down and his sons Stefan and Jurren have taken his place within the company. Briddge has proved to be a success from the moment of the merge of the two strong and experienced companies ‘Dunnewijk’ and ‘Gread & Partners’. All the partners bring years of experience, which they have obtained working in big companies as PWC, EY and Lazard. Each with their own specific area of expertise.
