Bridge Boston is a public charter school that opened in the fall of 2011 serving children in Roxbury and the surrounding community – many of whom have experienced emotional, social, and developmental barriers to learning. In the 2019-2020 school year we will reach maturity with 335 students in pre-Kindergarten through grade 8. We believe the most effective way to lift children out of poverty is by equipping them with an excellent education. With a longer school day and school year, we are able to provide academic rigor, a commitment to nurture the whole child, and a breadth of full-service programming to remove obstacles to knowledge acquisition.

The Education and Teaching Team at Bridge Boston Charter School is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive education to students from pre-Kindergarten through grade 8. This team includes specialists in special education, social work, speech-language pathology, literacy, science, and physical education, among others. They collaborate to create an inclusive, supportive, and academically rigorous environment that addresses the diverse emotional, social, and developmental needs of their students, thereby helping to remove barriers to learning and foster educational success for all.
