Brant H. Demuth

Brant joined Bridge City Capital, LLC in 2021. As portfolio manager/analyst, Brant provides research coverage across economic sectors and industries. He brings extensive capital markets and investment management experience to Bridge City. Immediately prior to joining Bridge City, Brant was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bonanza Creek Energy, where he oversaw $3 billion in mergers and $500 million of fixed income issuance, taking the firm’s enterprise value from approximately $300 million to over $5.5 billion. He held corporate leadership, finance, strategy and development roles with several publicly traded energy and bio-industrial companies.

Prior to his corporate roles, Brant held roles of increasing responsibility in institutional portfolio management for more than two decades at several investment management firms, including Invesco Ltd. and Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association. Brant serves on the University of Northern Colorado’s Monfort College of Business Dean’s Leadership Council and previously served as board member of Redfield Energy.

Brant received an M.B.A. from the University of Denver and a B.S from Colorado State University and is a CFA charterholder.
