Kassie Bertumen is an experienced professional in the fields of evaluation, community development, and housing. Currently serving as the Director of Evaluation at BRIDGE Housing Corporation since July 2015, Kassie has held various leadership roles, including Senior Manager of Evaluation and Manager of Community Development. Prior to this, Kassie gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on the Resilient Cities Housing Initiative, and as a Rappaport Public Policy Fellow at Harvard University, working on reports for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. With a strong foundation in research and policy, Kassie's background also includes work as a Research Intern with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and positions at The Urban Institute and the City of Oakland. Kassie holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from UC Berkeley.
