AJ Jones has held various communication and technology-related positions throughout the years. Starting as a Senior Account Executive at Hermanoff Public Relations, AJ later transitioned to development roles at nonprofit organizations like Ozone House Youth & Family Services. AJ's experience includes managing media relations, marketing and communications, event planning, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at The Center For Michigan | Bridge Magazine, AJ oversees web platforms, digital projects, news production, and IT services. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College, AJ brings a diverse skill set to the table.

The Center focuses on in-depth explanatory and watchdog reporting while working collaboratively with various media to deepen and widen public consumption of in-depth reporting. The Center’s mission is to make Michigan better through high-quality, nonpartisan journalism & engagement.
