Melvin Gaddy

Melvin Gaddy IV, LCMHC-A, NCC, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and therapy. As the Founder and Therapist at GoldAura Therapy since August 2019, Melvin has focused on providing culturally competent counseling services. Previous roles include Counselor at North Carolina Central University, SAIOP Counselor at SouthLight Healthcare, and Personal Trainer at North Carolina State University. Melvin's internship at the NC State Counseling Center involved direct counseling, outreach efforts, and the establishment of a therapy group for Men of Color. Educationally, Melvin holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
