Karsten Benten has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. From 2004-2006 they were an International Technical Service Engineer for SIG Combibloc, followed by a similar role at Elopak from 2006-2008. In 2008 they became a Field Service Engineer EMEA for Stereotaxis at 4plus GmbH, and then in 2009 they assumed the role of Field Service Manager EMEA at Stereotaxis. In 2013 they moved to Boston Scientific Corporation as Manager Field Service EMEA, where they were responsible for managing and reorganizing the EMEA Service Organisation and integrating acquired Capital Equipment and Service Orgs. with a focus on Customer Satisfaction and performance. From 2017-2019 they were Senior Manager Service and Operations CEE at Omnicell, and most recently they have been Director Global Service Operation at Bridge to Life Ltd., where they have been defining and setting up short, mid- and long-term strategies for global Service and Operations, as well as building effective global structures for techncial and customer Service, Supply chain and Operations.
Karsten Benten has an education history that includes a Master Degree in Mechanics from SIHK between 2002 and 2004, a Training Supervisor degree for Mechanics and Coaching from SIHK in 2002, and a Qualified Mechanic degree from SIHK between 1988 and 1992. Additionally, they have obtained a C-Level Communication certification from the Technische Akademie Wuppertal e.V. in March 2019, and a Medizinprodukteberater certification from the TÜV Rheinland AG.
