Brooke Brown

Brooke Brown is a Scientist I at BridgeBio, focusing on Analytical Development in Gene Therapy since February 2023. Prior to this role, Brooke completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia, where involvement in Cancer Cell Signaling and Systems Pharmacology under the guidance of Matthew Lazzara, Ph.D., took place from August 2017 to February 2023. Experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Synthetic Biology and CRISPR-Cas Systems Lab at North Carolina State University occurred from August 2015 to May 2017, under the mentorship of Chase Beisel, Ph.D. Additional professional experience includes a Manufacturing Automation Internship at Merck, where contributions to vaccine manufacturing were made, and a role as a Development Lab Technician at Corning Life Sciences, focusing on process optimization for bioprocessing development. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University.
