Shweta Rane

Shweta Rane, PhD, MS, BCMAS, CMPP, is an accomplished executive in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Executive Director at BridgeBio since February 2024. As the Regional President of Membership Experience for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association since February 2019, Shweta Rane leads strategic initiatives in member recruitment, retention, and engagement in the New England region. Previous roles include Global Medical Director at Biogen, focusing on orphan and neuromuscular diseases, and various leadership positions in scientific and management capacities at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Takeda, and other healthcare organizations. Shweta Rane holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell and Molecular Medicine from Rutgers University, a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from Long Island University, and has completed a mini-MBA at Rutgers Business School, among other educational achievements.
