Sun-Gou Ji

VP, Computational Genomics at BridgeBio

Sun-Gou Ji is an accomplished computational genomics expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Computational Genomics at BridgeBio since February 2020, Sun-Gou Ji has previously held positions as Director and Associate Director of Statistical Genetics at the same organization. Prior to BridgeBio, Sun-Gou Ji worked at Seven Bridges as an R&D Engineer and Genomics Scientist, and earlier at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on genomic analyses of immune-mediated disorders. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Cambridge and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Yonsei University. Notable projects during the Ph.D. include identifying genomic variants in autoimmune disorders and conducting predictive modeling for Alzheimer's disease as an Insight Data Science Fellow.
