Alex Spanel

Alex Spanel has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Alex most recently worked at Bridgepoint Investment Banking as a Vice President, where they provided capital raising and M&A advisory solutions to clients. Prior to that, Alex held the role of Associate at the same company. Alex first joined Bridgepoint as an Investment Banking Analyst. Before joining Bridgepoint, Alex worked as a Tax Senior Consultant at Deloitte. Alex also gained experience as a Masters Student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and as an Accountant/Analyst at Flint Hills Resources. Additionally, Alex held internships at Koch Industries Inc., Koch Pipeline LP and Deloitte.

Alex Spanel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008-2012. Later, in 2014-2015, Alex pursued a Master's of Professional Accountancy from the same institution. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications, including Series 63 from FINRA (obtained in November 2018), Series 79 from FINRA (obtained in August 2018), and a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) certification from the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy (obtained in August 2017).
