Saber Ghiassi is an accomplished Associate Professor of Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine, with a concurrent role as Chief of the Section of General Surgery at Bridgeport Hospital since March 2015. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Advance Laparoscopic Surgery Associates and a Fellow in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. Surgical residency was completed at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Saber Ghiassi holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
