Jonathan Jacobsen has a strong background in executive leadership and finance. Jonathan started their career in 2000 as a Production Manager at Bridgeport National Bindery, Inc., where they created a unique line of products for the youth market and managed production flow. In 2001, they became a Senior Buyer at Baker & Taylor Inc., responsible for purchasing computer books and tech-related titles from major publishers. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Buyer at Bodek and Rhodes. In 2006, they returned to Bridgeport National Bindery and served as the VP of Finance until 2021. In 2009, Jonathan founded Silver Street Media and held the position of Chief Executive Officer, overseeing publishing reprints and leading the company's sales growth strategy. Recently, in 2021, they joined Bridgeport National Bindery, Inc. again, this time as the Chief Financial Officer.

Jonathan Jacobsen obtained their high school diploma from Agawam High School in 1996. Jonathan then attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language. During their time at university, they also spent a year studying abroad at the University of Nottingham in 1998-1999, focusing on English Literature.
