Sharaya Smith

Sharaya Smith currently serves as the Manager of Public & User Services at Sacred Heart University, a position held since October 2018 following a promotion to oversee the Circulation department, where responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and managing student library workers. Prior experience includes multiple roles within the Bridgeport Public Library, providing research and reference assistance, as well as managing volunteer programs. Additional roles involve community organizing with Do Tank Bridgeport and leadership of a summer program with Groundwork Bridgeport. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Communication and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Kaplan University, along with foundational training in Information Management and Auto Mechanics.
