Shawn Scott

Shawn Scott, CISSP has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Shawn is currently the Director of Technology at Bridger Aerospace, where they provide oversight and planning for the implementation of technical solutions on Bridger aircraft. Shawn also guides information security efforts for the enterprise. Shawn also works as a Mission Systems Operator on ISR aircraft for wildland fire.

Before joining Bridger Aerospace, Shawn worked at PlexTrac as the Head of Customer Advocacy and later as the Vice President of Success. In these roles, they ensured that client requirements were incorporated into product development and provided support and services to customers.

Prior to that, Shawn served as Commander at the 224th Cyber Operations Squadron, where they built and led a cyber team to protect Department of Defense information systems from intrusion. Shawn also analyzed risks to critical infrastructure and developed mitigation capabilities.

Shawn's experience also includes working as a Program Manager at the United States Air Force, Chief of the Battlefield Airmen Branch at the National Guard Bureau, Director of Operations at the Idaho Air National Guard, and Chief of Weapons and Tactics at the 726 Air Control Squadron. Shawn has also served as an Air Battle Manager, instructing and executing command and control of combat operations.

Shawn began their career as a Strategic Communications System Apprentice in the USAF and later became an Instructor/Evaluator Senior Director and Air Weapons Officer at the 964th Air Control Squadron.

Shawn Scott, CISSP, holds a Master of Aeronautical Science (MAS) degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2010. Prior to that, Shawn attended Emory University from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science.
