Tyler Chism has held a variety of roles in the engineering, construction, and research fields since 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a General Laborer for LA Rue Contractor Inc. and an Engineering Intern for Yelcot Communications. From 2009 to 2013, they held the role of Laboratory Technician for Dr. Tian's research Lab. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant for the University of Arkansas. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Construction Laborer for Marion County Paving. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Quality Lab Associate I for Baxter International Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Guidance Engineer for INROCK. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Self Employed Engineer. Finally, from 2020 to 2022, they have held the role of Software and Algorithms Engineer for Magic Leap and Software Engineer, Calibration for Magic Leap.
Tyler Chism began their educational journey at Arkansas Tech University in 2009, studying Engineering Physics. Tyler then transferred to the University of Arkansas in 2012, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2014. Following this, they earned a Master of Science in Microelectronics-Photonics Engineering Program from the University of Arkansas in 2015.
