Kevin McCloskey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Kevin started their career as an English Teacher at English Opens Doors in 2010, before moving on to work as a Salesman/Account Manager at Ironman Logistics in 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Kevin worked at International Studies Abroad (ISA), initially as a University Relations Representative and then as a Program Manager in Spain. In the latter role, they managed study abroad programs in Madrid, Salamanca, Bilbao, and Santander. Kevin also served as the Director of Student Outreach, collaborating with a team to market and advise prospective study abroad students.

In 2014, Kevin founded Atx Athletics, a youth lacrosse program in East Austin, where they also served as the President. Kevin grew the program through community outreach and provided lacrosse classes as an extracurricular activity.

From 2013 to 2016, Kevin was Assistant Director and Head Coach at New Horizons Lacrosse in Austin. Despite relocating to Baltimore, Maryland, they continued to support the program through practice planning and interaction with coaches and directors.

In 2016, Kevin worked as the Commissioner of the BeMore Athletic League at Living Classrooms Foundation. Kevin collaborated with teachers, coaches, and athletic directors to coordinate athletics for middle-grade students in Baltimore City.

From 2015 to 2017, Kevin worked at Goucher College, first as a Graduate Assistant, where they engaged students in community-based learning and social justice initiatives. Kevin then served as the Defensive Coordinator for the Men's Lacrosse team, focusing on player development and planning practice sessions.

Kevin returned to Living Classrooms Foundation in 2017, initially serving as the Coordinator of Athletics and Events. Kevin collaborated with colleagues to expand positive outcomes for youth and organized athletic events and leagues. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Director of Sports and Recreation, where they focused on strategic planning for the health and wellness department, particularly the BeMore Athletic League and after-school program opportunities.

Most recently, Kevin joined Bridges Baltimore in 2019 as the Deputy Director.

Kevin McCloskey earned their Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Psychology from the University of Lynchburg, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they also attended La Universidad Veracruzana to further their expertise in Spanish Language and Literature. Kevin later pursued a Master's degree in MED Athletic Program Leadership and Administration at Goucher College from 2015 to 2017.
