Kory Smith

Kory Smith currently serves as the Chief Engineer for Consumer Tire Advanced Product Engineering at Bridgestone Americas, with a career that began in August 2008. In this role, Kory leads an engineering team focused on rapidly bringing new tire concepts to market. Previous positions at Bridgestone include Manager of New Concept Engineering and Section Manager for Multi-Physics and Systems, where Kory oversaw a team of engineers and scientists. Prior experience includes a Senior Project Engineer role in Off Road Tire Development and Advanced Tire Technology. Kory began the professional journey at Hankook Tire America Corp. as an Engineering Co-op, designing and executing experiments for tire testing. Kory holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
