Koji Takagi

Koji Takagi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the tire manufacturing industry, currently serving as Management Board Member and Chief Sustainability Officer at Bridgestone EMEA since July 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing business matters across the EMEA region and leading sustainability initiatives. Takagi has previously held significant roles, including Vice Chair and Executive Vice President at Bridgestone Americas, and Vice President & Senior Officer for Product Development at Bridgestone Corporation, where contributions included the establishment of the EMIA Sustainability Office and advancements in tire material development. Takagi’s background features a strong focus on research and development, with leadership roles in both technical centers and advanced technology initiatives. Koji Takagi holds multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from respected institutions, including Yokohama National University and Ibaraki University.
