Mete Ekin

Mete Ekin currently serves as the President of Europe Core Tyre at Bridgestone EMEA, a position held since January 2024. Ekin has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Brisa Bridgestone Sabanci since July 2017. Previously, Ekin held various leadership roles at Bridgestone from March 2016 to January 2024, including Vice President of the Joint Global COO Office, Vice President for Emerging Markets, and Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. Prior experience includes serving as CEO and Commercial Director at Pirelli from March 2007 to January 2016, followed by roles as Commercial Director at Karland and Pirelli Tyres Egypt, as well as Marketing Manager for BU Truck at Pirelli Tyres Italy. Ekin holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and a degree from Istanbul Technical University, along with a high school diploma from Sankt Georg Austrian High School.
